Hello!
My name is Daniel, but everyone calls me Danny! :)
I'm an aspiring games artist, who recently graduated from TUD with a first-class honours degree in Game Design.
I love all things creative. Whether it's 3D modelling, Graphic Design or Photography, I am always trying to create something new and unique!

Experience
Lead 3D Artist -
VIRAL Lab
I was hired by a former lecturer to work with the "Virtual Interactive Research Lab" at T.U.D.
My role was to faithfully recreate pharmaceutical equipment for use in a Virtual Reality training simulator. This required me to work from detailed photographs of the machine, to model and texture it as accurately as possible.
I was also responsible for creating the Virtual Environment that the player was to work in. This involved creating a basic scene in Unity, with assets for the player to play with, and receive instructions from.
Senior Demonstator -
T.U.D.
I was invited by a former lecturer to Tutor First Year Game Design students in their "Design Practice" Module for Semester 2 of the 2020/2021 Academic Year.
I have always had a passion for teaching, and for a long period my dream was to become a teacher.
It was my responsibility to help the students become more familiar with Software such as Photoshop and Unity, as well as providing them with a broader understanding of Game Art and Art theory.
Lead 2D Artist - Lionheart Gateway
I was brought back to further develop the project with Lionheart Gateway after being awarded an Innovation Voucher for my work on a College project.
For this Internship, I was the Lead Artist on a team tasked with developing a High Level prototype for Investment purposes. I spent my time developing concept art for different in-game environments, and tried to finalise the overall style for the app.
I was responsible for maintaining communication between my team and the CEO + CTO of the company, ensuring that the work was done to a high standard and that everyone was kept up to date.
Education
Bachelor of Arts in Game Design with First Class Honours
In June 2020 I graduated with First Class Honours in Game Design from Technological University Dublin.
